Weekend Outlook: A brief cool-down this weekend

This weekend will see the first hint of fall weather, but things are expected to warm back up next week
weather_weekend_outlook2

The first hint of fall arrives this weekend with a cool northerly wind as temperatures fall back to near seasonal values for early September. However, an area of high pressure moves into Ontario next week, bringing temperatures nearly ten degrees warmer than normal. There's a chance we could even break some record-high temperatures next week.

Friday will be mostly cloudy, with a few sunny breaks and the odd isolated shower as daytime highs drop to 14°C.

Saturday will be partly cloudy, with temperatures lingering around 14°C again. Skies will start to clear on Sunday, and daytime highs will climb to 20°C.

Sunshine returns for Monday and most of next week as temperatures climb back into the 20s.
