A Wawa woman charged on Aug. 6 with uttering threats was arrested again on Aug. 10 for allegedly breaching her release conditions.

In the initial call, Ontario Provincial Police officers were dispatched to Hillcrest Avenue for a report of a disturbance. A 35-year-old woman was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm.

Police say the woman was released on an undertaking with a promise to appear back in court on Sept. 11.

Four days later, on Aug. 10, police responded to another disturbance call at a business on Mission Road — where they arrested the same woman.

Along with the previous charges, Katie Gipson now faces two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking. She was released from custody again, with the same return to court date of Sept. 11.

None of the allegations against Gipson have been tested in court and she is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
