Sault police will be on the lookout for motorcycle gangs this weekend, and they’re warning the public that “gang-related clothing or paraphernalia will not be permitted” at local establishments or Rotaryfest activities.
The city owned MS Norgoma has made the Coast Guard’s naughty list of 125 Ontario ‘problem boats’ listed on the Coast Guard's national inventory of wrecked, abandoned or hazardous vessels.
Despite the province lifting the fire ban earlier this week, three new fires have popped up in the northeast region. In all there remains 82 active wildland fires burning across the province, 59 of which are being observed and don’t pose a risk to public safety.
Garden River has added a new pumper truck to its emergency fleet of vehicles for the first time since 1998. The new fire truck which was funded through Indigenous Services Canada will be ready to roll within a couple of weeks.
