From now until the end of March, donations to the United Way Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District will have double the impact.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, every dollar will be matched up to $70,000, a news release said.
Funds stay local, helping those who need it most with nutritious meals, mental health and addiction resources, educational support, along with providing opportunities for children to learn and grow.
“This is an incredible opportunity for our community to come together and make an even greater difference,” said Lori Huston, the organization’s executive director.
“Give today and see your generosity go twice as far!”
Donations can be made online, by calling 705-256-7476 ext. 202, or by mailing 258 Queen Street East Suite 301, Sault Ste Marie, ON P6A 1Y7.
