Police and public works were on scene Wednesday night as the heavy rain that swept over the Sault Ste. Marie area led to flooding at the Wellington St. underpass in the west end of the city.
As of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, the area was closed and barricaded with members of the city police service and public works on scene.
There were two people in one of the vehicles but were not injured.
