Time to hit the slopes as Searchmont opens this weekend

Searchmont Resort announced via social media today that the ski hill will open this weekend, Saturday, Dec. 7, with three of the 21 runs operating – the Main, Peggy’s Promise, and Binder Twine. The triple lift will be running with the others expected to open in the near future. The learning centre will be open at a later date.

New snow-making capabilities, two new belt lifts, new programs, and a new full-service ski shop are some of the additions made this season. The Kiln, a new restaurant and bar, is slated to open sometime shortly after opening weekend.
