The holidays are right around the corner, and this year the Coke Holiday Truck is coming to the Sault.
The truck will be parked at Pino's on Dec. 4 from 5-8 p.m., and Coke and Pino’s staff will be collecting donations for St. Vincent’s and delivering the donations on Dec. 5. Pino’s has set up a bin inside their store for donations, and there will also be bins available for donations at the Caravan.
Santa will be available for pictures.
Additionally, there will also be a new program – Canada’s Kindest Community which has been embedded within the Holiday Caravan tour. Here's how it works:
- Canadians can nominate kind acts – whether their own or those of others – that have made life in their community a little kinder.
- By participating, communities across Canada have a chance to win a $50,000 donation that benefits everyone.
- Nominations can be made at select grocery stores, Holiday Caravan stops, or directly on the Holiday Hub microsite.
- At the end of the campaign, Coke will recognize and celebrate the winning community as Canada’s Kindest Community, with a $50,000 charitable donation.
- To ensure the program is embedded directly into the community, we’ll partner with a network organization that will identify a local non-profit in the winning location and funds will be distributed where the need is greatest.

Additionally, there is a new program – Canada’s Kindest Community which has been embedded within the Holiday Caravan tour:
Grounded in our Mission to deliver optimism, we’re bringing Coke Canada and the Coca-Cola brand together and collaborating to make a meaningful impact in our local communities through a truly integrated Holiday experience.
Now, more than ever, the world needs kindness. We know there are many Canadians who deliver kindness every day in our Local Bottler communities, coast-to-coast.
CKC aims to identify, celebrate, and reward those who share acts of kindness, inspiring others to do the same. Why? Because kindness is contagious. Bringing together The Holiday Caravan and Canada’s Kindest Community provides an opportunity for us to connect the Holiday season with making a difference in the communities where we operate.
