Terry Sheehan working virtually after positive COVID-19 test

Sheehan reports 'mild symptoms' after taking rapid test, according to social media post

Sault Ste. Marie MP Terry Sheehan will be working virtually for the time being after testing positive for COVID-19. 

Sheehan says his symptoms are mild, according to a social media post on his official Twitter account Tuesday evening.

"Today I took a home rapid test and tested positive for COVID. I am grateful to be double vaccinated and boosted. My symptoms are mild," said Sheehan. "I will be working virtually and following healthcare advice."

There have been 56 new cases reported by Algoma Public Health in Sault Ste. Marie and area within the past seven days.
