'Take Back the Night' returns to the Sault this week

Phoenix Rising Women's Centre is holding its annual Take Back the Night event on Thursday.

Participants will meet at the centre, 596 Wellington St East, at 6 p.m. and march to Montanas at 89 Foster Dr. where there will be guests speakers, light refreshments and a candlelight vigil.

The evening is being hosted in association with Algoma Council on Domestic Violence, Women in Crisis Algoma, Freedom Sisters, Phoenix Rising Non-Profit Homes and Nimkii-Naabkawacan Family Crisis Centre.
