A Greater Sudbury resident is $119,008 richer after winning Sault Area Hospital Foundation's October 50/50 draw.

On Nov. 1, 2024, Remi Leclair of Greater Sudbury, Ont. won a $119,008 jackpot in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) October 50/50 draw. Remi’s lucky number (O-5000455) was drawn electronically, and he was called immediately.
Remi has been a SAHF support for years. “It’s a great way to support the hospital and contribute to better care for patients. On the other hand, the winnings can give families the chance to get ahead. Thank you for making this possible.” Remi will be using his winnings to invest in his retirement.
Remi wasn’t the only winner this month – October’s Early Bird, Darlynn Blackbird of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., was the lucky winner of $10,000 on Oct. 17 with bonus number O-7625808.
