Young violinist Victoria Jones serenaded visitors to St. Luke's Cathedral Saturday afternoon during its open house and 140th anniversary celebration.
The event was also an opportunity for the Cathedral to show off its recent renovations, including an upper mezzanine and new public restrooms.
"There was a lot of wasted space and a serious lack of storage," Diane LaRue, head of the communications committee, told SooToday.com. "The new mezzanine also gives the public the opportunity to fully enjoy the church's beautiful front stained glass window."
The window in question, designed by artist Angus MacDonald, was dedicated by Lady Dunn in 1955 to her husband Sir James Dunn.
