Marie MP Terry Sheehan joined Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 officials, Army, Navy and Air Cadets and the general public at a ceremony Sunday, Apr.8 2018 marking the 101st anniversary of Canada’s historic military victory at Vimy Ridge in the First World War. This year’s ceremony took place at Greenwood Cemetery, where a Vimy Oak sapling, planted by the Legion last fall, was officially dedicated. The sapling is directly descended from the oak trees which grow at Vimy. Darren Taylor/SooToday
