Students interested in the world of skilled trades and technology are invited to the Skilled Trade and Tech Summit on March 4 at GFL Memorial Gardens.

This event, in partnership with the North Shore Tribal Council, will bring together over 1,000 youth, educators, and industry leaders to explore the world of skilled trades and technology, with a focus on fostering opportunities for Indigenous youth in these fields.

The summit will feature traditional opening remarks, keynote speakers, panel speakers, interactive booths, and a vibrant trade show, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the future workforce.

  • Time: 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Doors open at 9:30 a.m.; keynote and sessions from 10 a.m.)
  • Location: GFL Memorial Gardens, 269 Queen Street East, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
  • Target Audience: Youth (Grades 7-12), unemployed/underemployed, Industry Professionals, Educators, and Stakeholders
