The significant weather event is now over in Sault Ste. Marie.

The city says public works crews will continue to address snow and ice accumulation as needed.

“Drivers and pedestrians are asked to continue to use caution as conditions may vary from one area to another,” the city added in a news release.

The significant weather event, which the city declared on Nov. 25, brought more than 50 cm of snow in one day and was followed by several days of snowfall.
