See a Sault BBQ joint on TV this Friday

In late August 2015, a film crew from Food Network Canada was in town shooting at two popular Sault Ste. Marie eateries.

The crew spent two days at Ernie's Coffee Shop and Low and Slow Smoked Fusion BBQ, sampling their wares and learning the secrets of some of their most popular dishes for season five of You Gotta Eat Here!

On Friday, March 11, the episode featuring Low and Slow will air on Food Network Canada at 9 p.m.

The third episode of the season will also include segments from Toronto's Casa Manila and Buffalo's Charlie the Butcher.

An air date for the episode featuring Ernie's Coffee Shop has yet to be released.

You Gotta Eat Here! follows host John Catucci, an actor-singer-comedian by trade, as he highlights the best comfort food from across North America.

In addition to locations in Canada and the U.S., season five will also include special episodes in Rome, Florence, London and Dublin.
