Registration for Science North Summer Science Camps is now open in Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas, including Elliot Lake, Blind River, Desbarats, and Wawa.
Camps are also taking place at additional communities across northern Ontario, the educational organization said in a release.
Since 1987, Science North has offered educational summer science camp experiences to over 30,000 children ages 4 to 11 across Ontario.
"Through engaging activities and workshops, Science North’s camps spark natural curiosity and inspire a love for science," the organization said.
"From nature-themed camps to animal adventures to technology-based programming, there will surely be a camp that appeals to everyone!"
Summer Science Camps in the Sault are offered for nine weeks of camp from July 2 to Aug. 29.
They also are offered in surrounding communities:
- Blind River – Aug. 18–22
- Elliot Lake – Aug. 11–15
- Wawa – July 7–11
- Desbarats – Aug. 5–8
Age groups vary from four to 11 depending on the community, Science North said.
