The owner of Sault Ste. Marie's newest Mediterranean fusion restaurant is hoping it will become a staple in the city.
Tahini's Restaurants officially celebrates its grand opening in August on Churchill Boulevard.
“We look forward to becoming a staple in the Sault Ste. Marie community,” Omar Hamam, Founder and CEO of Tahini’s, said in a news release. “This expansion serves as a testament to our passion for crafting innovative culinary experiences, and we can’t wait to contribute to the city’s vibrant food scene with our bold and authentic flavours.”
The menu features shawarma and inventive fusion bowls and aims to blend "the rich essence of Mediterranean cuisine with a diverse array of global flavours and spices."
Tahini's currently has 44 franchise locations and plans to expand across the country and globally with the total number of corporate and franchise locations projected to exceed 60 by the end of the year.
