Come and join in all the fun

The Sault Ste. Marie Francophone Centre (CFSSM) is celebrating the St-Jean-Baptiste festival on Saturday, June 24.

Everyone is invited to join in the festivities, which will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bellevue Park.

The Saint-Jean-Baptiste festival is the French-Canadian holiday celebrated all over North America to commemorate the patron saint of the Francophones, John the Baptist.

It is a fun-filled event that unites Francophones, Francophiles and everyone who wishes to recognize and celebrate French culture.

Local artists such as the Burton Clan, François Lemieux, Marco Roy and students from Notre-Dame-du-Sault will be performing throughout the day.

Many Francophone organizations will be participating in the local festival, including Les Chevaliers de Colombs, and CÉFA, as well as some of the local French and immersion schools.
