One Sault resident will have thousands of extra dollars in her bank account thanks to the Split the Pot Lottery.

Lottery organizers announced the 13 grand prize winners on Friday to split a final total of $1,156,420.

One Kitchener resident received 60 per cent of that payout for a prize of $693,852.

Two winners split 20 per cent of that, winning $115,642 each.

And Sault Ste. Marie’s Mary Lynn S. is one of 10 winners to split the final 20 per cent, taking home $23,128.40 in the lottery that supports 62 hospital partners across the province, including the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.

Ticket sales for the next Split the Pot Lottery draw reopen on October 16.
