Sault College has partnered with the Canadian Marketing Association to support a new pathway for Business Marketing graduates.
The partnership allows graduates to accelerate their path to a Chartered Marketer (CM) designation, Canada’s only recognized marketing designation.
"A CM designation recognizes a professional’s commitment to continuous learning, adherence to the highest industry standards, and leadership within the marketing industry," said a Sault College release on the partnership.
With this designation, marketers will have access to a wealth of resources exclusive to the Chartered Marketing Association members, which includes networking and professional development opportunities, option to author a CM Spotlight Blog, and much more.
"Sault College is proud to offer our Business Marketing graduates this exciting opportunity in partnership with the Canadian Marketing Association," said Martha Irwin, dean of business and information technology at Sault College.
"This accelerated pathway to the Chartered Marketer designation reflects the strength of our programming and our commitment to aligning our students with recognized industry standards.
"It’s a significant step in helping graduates advance their careers and make meaningful contributions to the marketing field," Irwin said.
Graduates who choose to pursue the designation will require one year of work experience, which can be a student or internship position, two additional courses and the summit course to obtain the full designation.
“We are thrilled to partner with Sault College to pave a pathway for future marketing leaders," said chief membership and learning officer, Natasha Upal.
"This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to fostering professional development and promoting marketing excellence. By offering an accelerated path to the Chartered Marketer designation, we are equipping Sault College graduates with vital tools and resources to excel in an ever-evolving marketing landscape."
