The Ministry of Transportation is reporting that Highway 556 (Ranger Lake Road) is closed due to washout conditions and emergency roadwork.
The highway is closed in both directions from Highway 532 (Searchmont Highway) through to Highway 129.
It's unclear when the highway will reopen.
