Portion of Queen Street to close for four days next week

A portion of Queen Street will be closed for four days next week as part of the Queen Street Improvement Project.

Queen Street will be closed at Spring Street beginning on Monday in order to complete the water main connections between March Street and Elgin Street. The work will connect the newly installed water main to the existing system.

Several water outages are expected for customers in the area and affected residents and businesses in the area have been notified by the PUC.

Drivers are asked to used caution in the area and obey signage.

Access to sidewalks will be maintained and businesses in the area will be open.
