Police still on lookout for people who fled on foot after Remembrance Day collision

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service says charges have yet to be laid in a downtown collision where people fled the scene. 

On Nov. 11, police, fire and EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision between a car and an SUV at the intersection of Bruce Street and Queen Street East. 

The occupants of the car fled the scene on foot. 

City police spokesperson Lincoln Louttit tells SooToday that one of the vehicles involved in the Remembrance Day collision was reported stolen following the incident. 

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service says the investigation is ongoing.
