Police seek witnesses to Korah Road collision

Public's assistance required for a hit and run investigation

Officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service need the public's assistance in relation to a hit and and run which occurred on April 1, 2016 at 7:10 p.m. on Korah Road at Connaught Avenue.

A full-sized black pickup truck and a burgundy Ford Edge were involved in the collision.

Both vehicles had been travelling northbound on Korah Road.

The pickup truck fled the scene after the collision.

The pickup truck was last seen headed through the rear of the Market Mall parking lot.

Investigators advise the pickup truck sustained significant damage to the driver's side door.

Anyone who may have witnessed this collision, or has knowledge of the owner and this vehicle, is asked to contact Constable Speck of Traffic Services at 705-949-6300 extension 295.
