1 p.m. update:
Police, who were called to the scene shortly after 11 a.m., say they do not yet know whether shots were fired in this morning's robbery.
Police confirm one suspect was apprehended at the scene and officers are trying to determine whether more people were involved.
None of the victims sustained physical injuries, police say.
12:46 p.m. update:
At least two Sault Police vehicles and the canine unit were seen outside the Station 49 condominium complex immediately west of Station Mall shortly before noon Monday.
Previously, at approximately 11:30 a.m., six Sault Police officers were at the Station Mall kiosk checking security camera footage with a mall security officer, with other police vehicles parked outside the mall’s north side.
Neither police or mall management would comment on the situation.
