Enbridge Gas has been busy over the past few weeks preparing for retrofit and replacement work to its natural gas pipeline at a number of sites between Sault Ste. Marie and Echo Bay.
In an email to SooToday, Leanne McNaughton, senior communications advisor for Enbridge Gas, says the majority of the construction on the company’s North Shore Lateral is expected to take place next week as part of its integrity management program.
“This work is required to allow us to insert cleaning and inspection tools for our planned 2022 pipeline inspection,” McNaughton said.
Final completion of the project is set for mid-November.
