More than 100 local players will be taking part in Pickleball Palooza this weekend in support of the Algoma Autism Foundation.

The event — hosted by Soo Pickleball, with the help of Comeault Dwyer Advisory Group of RBC Dominion Securities — takes place at the YNCU Pee Wee Arena this Saturday 9 a.m to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will also be a "Try the Sport" court set up in the front parking lot.

Soo Pickleball is encouraging the public to come see what "this Pickleball thing" is all about.

Entry is by donation to Algoma Autism Foundation.
