PHOTOS: Traffic lights back on at Albert and Elgin

As decided by city council on Tuesday night, the lights were restored to their usual function on Wednesday at about 1:45 p.m.

That didn't take long. 

City council voted last night to restore the traffic lights at Albert and Elgin streets, and today it's done.

As of 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, the lights were working again as usual.

The lights at Albert and Dennis streets and Church and Queen streets will remain inactive.
