************************* Vandals damage signs at Chapleau Peace Park
CHAPLEAU, ON - On April 27, members of the Superior East Detachment in Chapleau investigated a report of damage to various signs at the local “Chapleau Peace Park.”
Investigation reveals that damage likely occurred on the evening of April 25.
The mischief to the property was deliberate and pointless.
Repairs have been completed.
Nonetheless, these types of crimes against our communities' public property are grievous, effect us all and will not be tolerated by the OPP.
Investigation is continuing.
