THUNDER BAY — OPP have begun an investigation into an incident on Highway 11/17 that saw tractor-trailers narrowly avoiding collisions with each other and with oncoming vehicles.
It came to light Monday after media coverage that included video posted on the Skilled Truckers Canada Facebook page.
One transport truck was in a passing lane overtaking another but was forced into the oncoming lane of traffic after the driver of the other tractor-trailer also pulled into the passing lane.
Two passenger vehicles coming from the opposite direction had to take evasive action.
An OPP spokesperson said Tuesday that they are actively seeking the individual who recorded the dashcam video that was posted online.
Investigators would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or have further knowledge about it.
