Ontario reports 728 new COVID cases Saturday

Today's update also includes 500 recoveries and five deaths that occurred over the last month

Public Health Ontario has reported 728 new COVID-19 cases in its latest report (Nov. 20).

Today's update also includes 500 new recoveries and five deaths in the last month.

The Nov. 20 update provided by the province's public health agency also reported the following data:

  • 5,317 active cases, up from 5,094 yesterday.
  • 283 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 in Ontario, up from 269 yesterday.
  • ICU data is currently unavailable on the government website
  • The province reported 30,138 tests were processed yesterday.
  • Another 11,131 tests are still under investigation and/or being processed. To date, 19 million tests have been completed.

Vaccines

  • There were 15,367 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 administered yesterday, up from 13,897 on Nov. 18.
  • 22,791,463 doses of vaccine have been administered.
  • In total, 11,197,154 people have been fully vaccinated.

Public Health Ontario has confirmed 610,950 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, and reported 595,669 recoveries and 9,964 deaths, 4,023 of those in long-term care homes.
