Our Health Care is at a breaking point. Emergency rooms are overwhelmed, surgery wait times are growing, and healthcare workers are burnt out. Doug Ford and the Conservatives have made cuts leaving our public healthcare system in crisis, and their only solution is to privatize more health care services, at a higher cost to the province and the tax payers.
The Ontario NDP will act boldly on the opioid crisis by investing in harm reduction strategies, ensuring people get the medical help they need, and treating addiction as the health issue it is. We will act with compassion and evidence-based solutions.
