Jaycob Jacques has been named the Green Party candidate for Sault Ste. Marie in the upcoming provincial election.

"Our candidate in the Sault is Jaycob Jacques. More information about him will be available at gpo.ca/candidates in the coming days," said Stuart in an email.

In a biography on another part of the GPO website, Jacques is introduced as a student at the University of Ottawa who is originally from Sudbury, Ont.

"I find joy in simple pleasures such as crochet, reading, volunteer work, and gardening.
