Nominations are now open for Algoma University's 2025 Alumni Awards.
The university is calling on you to help celebrate the impact of its alumni by choosing someone who you think deserves an Alumni Achievement Award.
This award, to be presented during the Sault Ste. Marie Convocation Ceremony in June, honours a graduate from the past 10 years who has demonstrated excellence in their professional, civic, or personal accomplishments.
Nominations are also open for the Distinguished Alumni Award, which highlights an Algoma University graduate who has reached the pinnacle of success in their chosen field, making a lasting impact through their leadership and contributions.
Both annual awards recognize graduates who have made a difference, whether in their profession, their community, or beyond.
“This is an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible work our alumni are doing,” said Ashley Valela, Manager of Alumni and Strategic Initiatives in a news release issued today. “We look forward to recognizing their leadership and celebrating their achievements with the Algoma University community.”
Nominations are open to alumni from all locations—nominees do not need to reside in Sault Ste. Marie. To nominate an exceptional Algoma U graduate, complete the online nomination form. Submissions are due by Monday, April 7.
