Market Mall remains closed as management awaits roof inspection (1:15 p.m. update)

With the exception of the Metro store on the west end of the mall, the Market Mall is expected to remain closed today, says IDA Pharmacy manager Joe Greco.

"The city has come to inspect but we haven't heard we can re-open, yet," Greco said. "We're hoping to re-open tomorrow morning."

In the meantime, people looking for prescriptions they called in to IDA Pharmacy in the Market Mall can pick those up over at the IDA Pharmacy in the Station Mall.

"We've brought the prescriptions that were ready for pickup over here," said Greco. 

8:52 a.m. SooToday received the following update this morning from Joe Greco, manager of the IDA Pharmacy:

We are waiting for an inspection of the roof of the Market Mall this morning. We are not sure how long this will take.

If our customers are calling in to the Market Mall IDA Pharmacy or trying to access the property and we are closed, please forward all your prescription needs to the Station Mall IDA Drug Mart (705-949-7331). This includes refills and new prescriptions. We will have staff from the Market Mall location at the Station Mall location to serve those customers. We will have all your information at that location to serve you with all your needs.

Station Mall IDA Drug Mart hours are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Remember, we also have free delivery.
