SAULT NORTH ROTARY

The second of 12 draws for the 2018 Sault North Rotary Club was held Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at Algoma’s Water Tower Inn.
On the first Wednesday of each month, there is a draw for a trip for two as well as two secondary prizes of $150 each. After each prize is won, the name goes back into the drum for the next draw.
Grand prize for Feb. 7, 2018: seven nights in St. Lucia at the St. James Club.

Next draw is Wednesday, Mar. 7, 2018 for a trip to Las Vegas.
The principal focus of the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie North is youth education and development and the proceeds from the ticket sales assist with our clubs ongoing support to some of the following organization in our community:
- Sault North Rotary’s Youth Leadership Awareness Conference which involves over 50 high school students from each of the high schools in the Algoma region to participate in a hands on interactive learning environment. It embraces sports and motivational activities to help youth develop leadership skills to take back to their respective schools
- Annually we support Send A Kid to Camp under the auspices of Big Brothers/Big Sisters to meet specific children’s needs.
- Bursaries and Scholarships at Algoma University and Sault College
- Algoma Fall Festival Education Program
- Sponsorship of various sports teams
- Children’s Mental Health Program at Algoma Family Services
*Tickets for the 2018 draws are all sold. Tickets for the 2019 draws will not be available until the fall of 2018.*
