Look who's going on a Caribbean cruise

SAULT NORTH ROTARY CLUB

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at the Water Tower Inn, we drew our twelfth Trip of the Month Winner for the year.

This month's trip Caribbean cruise, seven nights on the Celebrity Solstice. Congratulations to Lois Calam Ticket #0064!

We also drew tickets for 2nd and 3rd prizes, each $150. The winners are: Allen and Pam Cook ticket # 0351 and Harold Soderlund Ticket #0341

As advertised and stipulated in our rules, each ticket is eligible for every draw.

Our next draw will take place Jan. 2, 2019.

The principal focus of the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie North is youth education and development and the proceeds from the ticket sales assist with our clubs ongoing support to some of the following organization in our community:

• Sault North Rotary’s Youth Leadership Awareness Conference which involves over 50 high school students from each of the high schools in the Algoma region to participate in a hands on interactive learning environment. It embraces sports and motivational activities to help youth develop leadership skills to take back to their respective schools
• Annually we support Send A Kid to Camp under the auspices of Big Brothers/Big Sisters to meet specific children’s needs
• Bursaries and Scholarships at Algoma University and Sault College
• Algoma Fall Festival Education Program
• Sponsorship of various sports teams
• Children’s Mental Health Program at Algoma Family Services
