************************* Extreme makeover - front lobby edition

The 'Falcon’s Nest'

Anna McCrea Public School’s front lobby underwent a facelift in October 2009.

The updated entrance continues to be a welcoming environment that is now a cozy reading corner thanks to the design team of Jane Barker and Donna Coulter.

The original idea came from a student-led visioning exercise completed in 2008 by the Agents of Change Welcoming Committee.

Completion of the project would not have been possible without the vision, expertise, donations of material and time of dedicated staff and parents.

Special thanks to the Damignani family, Jane Barker, Donna Coulter, Ron Ault, Charlie Thomlinson, Laurie Carlyle, Karla Crozier, Alyson Turco, Ray Parniak, Kelly Colter and Frank Greco for making this possible.

We follow the lead of past educators and parent volunteers at Anna McCrea Public School who understood the significance of opening doors to learning and making our school a special place.

The Falcon’s Nest is dedicated to all in the Anna McCrea Public School community.
