Long-time ARCH supporter wins October 50/50 draw

A long-time supporter of ARCH Hospice is celebrating after winning $12,210 in the October 50/50 draw.

Theresa Dewar and her daughter, Juanita, have supported the lottery each month since the beginning. “We always choose to give our donations to ARCH,” Theresa shared in a news release issued today. “We believe in what you do.”

The mother-daughter duo plan to have a really nice Christmas with their winnings!

ARCH is thrilled to announce that Theresa Dewar has won $12,210 from the October 50/50 Grand Prize Draw with ticket #D-3389076. Theresa and her daughter, Juanita, have supported our lottery each month since the beginning. “We always choose to give our donations to ARCH,” Theresa shared. “We believe in what you do.”

Theresa served as an aide at Van Daele Extendicare for 50 years before she retired. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia, but she loved her work in the Sault so much that she decided to stay here. With her extensive experience and caring nature, Theresa understands the importance of health care services and the impact they have on people’s lives. Having had friends and family at Hospice, the winners are long-time supporters of ARCH and our mission. “It’s amazing for our community to have a place like this – to be cared for during one of the most important moments of life,” Theresa said.
