Students at R.M. Moore Public School have joined forces with Hogan's Homestead Cafe in an effort to raise awareness for Pink Shirt Day, dedicated to promote kindness and stand against bullying.
The students have donated coffee sleeves to the business, which will be handed out with each coffee sold at the cafe.
The decorated sleeves, which will be given out beginning on Thursday and throughout March, are an initiative aimed at spreading positivity. A portion of the proceeds from each coffee sold with the decorated sleeves will be donated to Tracy's Dream, a charity chosen by the R.M. Moore faculty.
“We are excited to join forces with R.M. Moore Public School to make a positive impact in our community,” said Spencer and Erica Hogan from Hogan’s Homestead Café.
“We encourage everyone to stop by for a coffee or a quick meal — you don’t need to be travelling through the airport to participate. Plus, we offer free parking for all customers coming by just for a coffee or takeout.”
Orders placed through Uber Eats will contribute to the coffee sales benefiting Tracy's Dream as well.
