Local church to ring bells in Queen’s honour Wednesday

As the United Kingdom, Canada and other Commonwealth countries mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Emmaus Anglican Church at 1643 Wellington Street East will be ringing its church bell 96 times in honour of the monarch’s long life at 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 14.

The public is welcome to attend the event, which is a Diocese of Algoma undertaking.
