Want to start your young one on a path to lifelong learning?

The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library branch downtown is once again offering a session of Preschool Time, starting next month.

The sessions will take place Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. from Jan. 10 until Feb. 28, 2024.

The program is open to children 30 to 48 months of age, the library said in a news release — but space is limited.

"Children will explore stories and learning activities that encourage them along a lifelong path of reading and learning," the library said.

"All children will have opportunities to engage in activities that focus on pre-reading, numeracy, and socialization."

Registration begins Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at 9 a.m.

Visit the library’s website to register online.

Note: Parents and caregivers must remain in the library building throughout the duration of the program, the library said.
