The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is offering a workshop to assist families search their Indigenous ancestry.
With over 20 years’ experience researching for Indigenous documentaries, family genealogy, museum exhibits and Indigenous organizations, to name a few, Noreen Kruzich is the right person to guide you on this task, a media release said.
Join her in the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library Program Room, on Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for her workshop focusing on First Nations, Métis, and Indigenous ancestries. This is a registered program with space for 20 participants who are strongly encouraged to bring a packed lunch and a laptop (if owned).
