An upcoming event will give Saultites an opportunity to learn about the city’s rich Finnish history, and even their own Finnish heritage.

Kahvitauko takes place on Thursday, October 3 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie Museum.

There will be an opportunity to view, discuss and contextualize the archives of the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association and the Sault Ste. Marie Finnish Canadian Historical Society, along with kahvia / kaffe (coffee) and pulla (coffee bread) from Tuomo’s Stubbornly Finnish Food.

The event is free and no registration is required.
