Laurentian University's Goodman School of Mines has formed a partnership with the Sault Ste Marie Innovation Centre (SSMIC) to train students in various aspects of project management.
The new partnership will provide a Laurentian University Certificate of Project Management to participants who complete a 10-day training course, said a news release from the university this week.
Laurentian said the certificate will provide a record that the participant has completed the necessary training to successfully write their PMP Exam and obtain their Project Management Professional accreditation and designation from the Project Management Institute.
The release said a selection of 10 courses can be used to accumulate the 10 days for the certificate. Courses are being taught online by Procept Associates, an Accredited Training Provider of the Project Management Institute. SSMIC’s project management course offerings begin on April 17 with the Project Management Essentials Course, and ends on March 21, 2024.
