Late-night police presence required at Cara apartment complex

A substantial number of emergency vehicles and personnel were stationed outside one of the apartments at the Cara Community Corporation late Tuesday night.

Several police cruisers, as well as a tactical unit and an investigation vehicle, were parked near the entranceway of the Old Garden River Road apartment complex.

One ambulance and one fire truck were also at the scene.

Activity outside the building was limited as several officers exited the apartment and appeared to be wrapping up around 11:45 p.m. Most of the emergency services had left the scene shortly before midnight.
