It’s the last call for alcohol at the LCBO in the Station Mall.
The downtown location is set to permanently close its doors this Sunday at 5 p.m., with plans to move to a larger retail space at Churchill Plaza, according to signage affixed to the storefront.
Employees at the Station Mall store are being transferred to the new location, the LCBO's press office confirmed with SooToday in an email on Friday.
The new store measures 6,700 square feet and will offer more than 1,700 products, including:
- 48 Ontario Craft Brews
- 61 VQA wines
- 83 Vintages Essentials including ice wines
- 24 linear feet of chilled wines
- Large format beers
- An expanded Canadian Whisky section featuring more than 100 products
- Large vodka section with an increased assortment of flavoured vodkas
Located at 150 Churchill Blvd. Unit C18, the new LCBO store will officially open for business on Tuesday, Feb. 25 and will operate from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on opening day.
