Korah Collegiate's Duct Tape robotics team has arrived in Toronto for the 2003 Canada First Robotics Competition, considered the Stanley Cup of Robotics.

Today was the first day of the three-day competition and the team (photographed today by Kevin Cove at Humber College) presented their competition video to a four-person panel of judges.

There are 19 students involved in this year's team, specializing in web design, technical writing, video production and robot construction.

Last year, Team Korah placed sixth in Canada in the competition.

This year, competitors were required to build robots that play hockey.

Competition begins on Friday afternoon and continues through Saturday.

SooToday.com has arranged for regular updates from Toronto and will be first to announce how Team Korah finishes on Saturday night.
