Korah Collegiate kicked off its seventh annual Relay for Life Thursday night with opening ceremonies and a survivors lap for cancer survivors.
Roughly 200 students and about 50 volunteers are expected to participate throughout the all-night event.
The school has raised approximately $87,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society since it began hosting it own Relay for Life in 2011.
This year, the school hopes to surpass $100,000 in donations.
The non-competitive relay event wraps up Friday morning.
