Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is inviting children to participate in a prehistoric showdown this winter.

Kids can join Team T. Rex or Team Megalodon for the winter reading club, and help their team by completing reading challenges at their own pace.

“For each challenge completed, members of Team T. Rex or Team Megalodon will earn a badge to add to their team’s Wall of Fame,” the library explained in a news release.

“We'll wrap up on Friday, March 15th with crafts and activities and a prize draw.”

To participate, sign up at either the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library (50 East St.) or North Branch Library (232C Northern Ave. E.).

The showdown starts January 2.
